Welcome to my virtual classroom
From this home page, students and visitors can navigate to numerous virtual resources designed to support the learning that goes on in my physical classroom. Since the site contains copyrighted material, you will need a username and password to access some areas. I'll provide this information in class. The navigation menu to the left is the portal, a brief overview of which follows.
Daily Plans
The Daily Plans page includes a link to dated tables that list each day's lessons for all classes.
Resources
The primary feature of this section is the index of units. Students can follow these links to find handouts, videos, and lesson sequences. Following the Resources link will also lead visitors to other technology-driven educational forums, such as my Wiki and Moodle pages. Though the contents change periodically, typical resources include forms, rubrics, style sheets, etc.
Classes
Here, students and parents can view procedural aspects of specific courses. Information includes grading policies, topics studied, materials required, etc. I also hope to use this page to link to samples of student work.
Links
There are links to various educational websites under the 'Linkage' sidebar on the left. A special feature lies hidden beneath the icons in the banner at top of the page. Just 'mouse-over' the icons and you will see them change to different images that represent useful and interest hyperlinks. Check it out!
